At itti bitti we have all sorts of nappies for all sorts of babies - and to suit every budget!

Following is a description and rating for the various attributes to help you choose what nappy is best for your family. All of our nappies feature the same famous itti bitti ultra trim fit. Ratings are as follows, scale of 1(not so good) to 5(brilliant):

Flannel Print Fitted Nappies:
These are our most economical nappies, featuring a soft flannel print outer, hidden flannel layer and soft flannel inner. The internal boosters are made from hemp and the lay in booster from two layers hemp and two layers flannel. Occassionally flannel nappies may have a microfleece or velour inner for a small extra charge. These are fitted nappies, so will require a cover for complete waterproofness.

Absorbency 3 - good but may need to boost for heavy wetters
Durability 2.5 - flannel fabrics are lovely and soft, although over time they can tend to loose their softness and fade moreso than other fabrics, but they are a good economical choice.
Price 5 - can't beat the awesome price.

Knit and Cotton Print Fitted Nappies:
Made from fabrics which look great wash after wash, knit fabrics have a lovely stretch for an extra snug fit and cotton quilting prints come in amazing designs - often limited editions. Teamed with luxury inners - staydry microfleece or suedecloth, or lush soft velour and a hidden flannel layer for stability. The internal boosters are made from hemp and the lay in booster from three layers hemp and topped in the same fabric as the inner - microfleece, suedecloth or velour. These are fitted nappies, so will require a cover for complete waterproofness.

Absorbency 3.5 - good but may need to boost for heavy wetters
Durability 3.5 - Knit and cotton quilting fabrics wash up very well, although like all cotton based fabrics, can fade over time, inners of microfleece, suedecloth and velour look good for a long time.
Price 4.5 - great value cloth nappies.

bitti boo Fitted Nappies:
The most luxurious and most absorbent of our fitted nappies, these nappies have a great fit and look fantastic over time - some of our bamboo velour nappies are over a year old and still look great, even after daily use! They are cotton/poly velour on the outside, cotton hidden layer and bamboo velour for the inner. These feature the itti bitti Snap in Boosters in hemp (same design as the Snap in AIO's) for great absorbency and quick drying. These nappies have more absorbency than the other fitteds and are ever so slightly more bulky, but like all itti bitti's, still a very trim nappy. These are fitted nappies, so will require a cover for complete waterproofness.

Absorbency 4.5 - great! no need to boost for most babies, except for nights
Durability 4.5 - these nappies wash up fantastically and keep looking good, the hemp boosters may get a little stiff over time, but can be softened in the drier
Price 4 - a little more expensive than other fitteds, but worth if for the extra absorbency and luxury fabrics.

Snap in AIO (All in One) Nappies:
These are our most famous and most popular nappies! Two choices - the Bitti D'Lish with minkee outer or the Classic with Polyester PUL outer, these nappies are waterproof and have a snuggly soft microfleece or suedecloth inner - plus hemp or bamboo boosters, which snap in - you can customise the absorbency to suit your baby. The outer waterproof shell can be reused with dry boosters if it is not soiled, making it even more economical (and even easier for the nappy bag). Bamboo boosters are more absorbent and a little more expensive and hemp ones are slightly trimmer and dry faster, choose what suits you best. These nappies do not require a seperate cover as the waterproof layer is built into the nappy.

Hemp Classic Snap in AIOs:
Absorbency 3.5 - good, but may need to boost for heavy wetters
Durability 4.5 - these nappies wash up fantastically and keep looking good, the hemp boosters may get a little stiff over time, but can be softened in the drier
Price 3.5 - these aren't the cheapest nappies, but the cost is well worth it for the convenience, quality and fit - no need to buy seperate covers and they are more economical when teamed with extra booster sets as well.

Bamboo Classic and Bitti D'Lish Snap in AIO's:
Absorbency 4.5* - great! no need to boost for most babies, except for nights
Durability 5 - these nappies wash up fantastically and keep looking good, the bamboo boosters even stay fairly soft
Price 3 - these aren't the cheapest nappies, but the cost is well worth it for the convenience, quality, fantastic absorbency and fit - no need to buy seperate covers and they are more economical when teamed with extra booster sets as well.

*Teaming the Bitti D'Lish Snap in AIO with a bamboo or microfibre mini booster brings the absorbency up to 5, we've challenged the heaviest wetters we could find to out wee this combo and it stood up to the test with flying colours. We've also had many reports of customers even using these nappies for nights!
